For this project, we learned about the reinsurance industry, and uncovered the unique attributes of the ILS team, its founder, and the ways it conducts business that sets it apart from the market.

Our objective for this project was to craft messaging and design that gave new, relevant context for ILS within its industry. We approached this project with a focused series of interviews that gave us keen insights into the guiding principles of ILS’s founder, the core values of the team, the strong relationships with its expansive network, and scrupulous client services. Just as conducting business with trust and integrity is of paramount importance to the entire ILS team, we crafted our messaging to read clearly and honestly — without industry jargon. Look wider and take the long view.

With this project, we were able to uncover and articulate a new creative way for ILS to present itself in a seemingly uncreative industry. We looked well beyond the surface to understand the motivations of the people who make up the business. As they see the world of reinsurance as a collection of interconnected interests, the tools we created help them make and reinforce connections as their business continues to grow.
